I’m Emily. It’s nice to meet you!
I’m a dog person and Friends fanatic. I prefer comfort movies over food and I’m obsessed with beautiful packaging. I will consciously decide to buy a product for the packaging/design alone.
While my background is extensive, having studied Sociology and Communications as well as Business and Graphic Design, all in post-secondary education, my passion for creativity has always shown through. From artistic hobbies to wanting to take a trip to the store so I can look at new packages and beautiful labels to travelling to other countries and coming home with photographs of ads and campaigns I saw while away . . . I like to think I’m creatively geeky.
Soft Skills
- Communication – I believe communication is extremely important for a team to function properly, goals to be achieved and a healthy working environment
- Team player – while I can come up with a hundred concepts on my own, I really enjoy working with people
- Organized – I’m quite type-A and like things to be in the right place, category and list
- Detail Oriented – I’m a proud perfectionist, it makes me want to forever continue learning
- Determined – my competitive nature and involvement in figure skating as I grew up instilled a strong work ethic, resilience and ambition and taught me to work well under pressure

- Research – Having a background in Sociology and Business I am familiar with market research, have strong observational skills and can code and analyze qualitative data
